Back in 2022, our co-founder’s oldest child started the college application process. Even with great support from high school counselors and college consultants, he and his wife weren’t prepared for how overwhelming and nuanced the process would be.

They also quickly realized that straight As, great essays, and multiple extracurriculars were table stakes. It would take small touches like follow-up emails to get their kid noticed by their dream school.

But their kid was already stressed out and busy managing multiple application processes. So after every great college visit and interview, mom and dad had to remind them to send a thank you note. And the same applied to the application process when their kid needed to share relevant updates and check-ins.

From this painful experience, easythanks was created – leveraging the power of responsible AI and the understanding of how parents and students need all the help they can get during this exhausting chapter.
